Text: Matthew 19:4-6

Today’s text underscores the beauty and significance of marriage, emphasizing the unity and permanence of the husband-wife relationship. God created a male and a female, and also added that a man leaves his parents and cleaves to his wife, the two becoming one flesh. They become one through interdependence and in scared bond through marriage. Thus, marriage is monogamous, is for life and the husband and wife are inseparable. The marriage relationship is maintained through mutual respect and effective communication.
