Topic: Overcome Peer Pressure
Text: Daniel 3:13-18
Our text today uses the example of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, to explain how to overcome peer pressure. The three refused to bow to the idol of King Nebuchadnezzar by:
• remaining faithful to God, even when faced with intense pressure to conform.
• showing remarkable courage by refusing to compromise their faith despite the threat of death.
• believing that God was in control, regardless of the outcome.
• being willing to suffer rather than compromise their faith, demonstrating their commitment to their values and principles.
Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you and I can overcome peer pressure by following their example.
