Topic: The Promise of the Virgin Birth
Text: Isaiah 7:10-16

This passage contains a prophecy given by the prophet Isaiah to King Ahaz of Judah.
God offered Ahaz a sign to reassure him of His protection. When Ahaz refused to ask for a sign, God gave one: A virgin (or young woman) would conceive and give birth to a son, and his name would be Immanuel, meaning "God with us." The child symbolizes God's presence and assurance of deliverance.
Just as God fulfilled His promise in the birth of Jesus Christ, continue to live faithfully for Him, and His promises concerning you will be fulfilled.
