Topic: Submit to Authority in the Fear of God
Text: 1 Peter 2:17-18

This text, requires the believer to submit to God’s authority for several reasons:
• The believer is God’s slave to obey Him at all times.
• In demonstration of one’s respect for God’s authority and power.
• The believer’s submission to authority can be a powerful witness and testimony to the gospel (1 Peter 2:12).
• For the sake of both conscience and conviction, the believer should seek to obey God's established authority and honor Him in all aspects of life.
As God’s slaves, submit therefore to all authority as ordained by God. Amen!
