Topic: Protecting Enemies’ Properties
Text: Exodus 23:4-5

It is very instructive that God instituted in the law for the Israelites to protect their enemies' property. "If you meet your enemy's ox or his donkey going astray, you shall bring it back to him....."
God wants his people to love their enemies. In Matthew 5:44-45, Jesus reinforced the Old Testament law by teaching the disciples to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them.
It is not easy to love your enemies, but that is what the LORD requires of his people. Be a true child of God by imitating God who causes rain to fall on both the righteous and the unrighteous.
